Raydium
7.2/10 total
Solana's largest native AMM and the venue most memecoin liquidity graduates into, which is why aggregators route a large share of Solana flow through it. Swaps are non-custodial program calls from your wallet. In December 2022 an attacker used a trojan to compromise the pool owner private key on Raydium's own server and drained roughly $4.4M from eight constant-product pools by calling withdrawPnl and tampering with fee parameters, which was an operational key failure rather than a contract bug.
Scores
Weights are published in the method and applied identically to every entry.
For
- No account, no email, no identity verification
- Non-custodial: swaps are Solana program invocations signed by your own keypair
- Solana fees mean the network cost of a swap is fractions of a cent, so low fee tiers are actually usable on small trades
- Widest coverage of newly launched Solana tokens of any single venue
- Programs are open source and callable directly, and third-party routers quote Raydium pools independently of raydium.io
Against
- December 2022 exploit: a compromised pool owner key drained about $4.4M from eight AMM v4 pools; Raydium published a post-mortem and a compensation plan, but the loss was caused by its own key custody, not user error
- Every trade is permanently public on-chain and tied to your wallet
- CPMM tiers go up to 4% and many memecoin pools are set high, so the effective cost varies enormously pool to pool
- Front end sees your IP and wallet; no onion service, no no-JavaScript path
- Single-chain: Solana only, so no route out to Bitcoin or EVM assets without a separate bridge
Agent access 9/10
Public REST API for pool and quote data plus open-source TypeScript SDK, and the programs can be invoked directly from a keypair. No account or key issuance required.
Reported separately and not counted in the total. It measures what an autonomous agent can do unattended, not whether the service is safe to use.
Fees
0.01%-4% per pool
CLMM concentrated pools offer eight tiers: 0.01%, 0.02%, 0.03%, 0.04%, 0.05%, 0.25%, 1% and 2%. CPMM constant-product pools offer 0.25%, 1%, 2% and 4%. Of each fee, 84% goes to LPs, 12% to RAY buybacks and 4% to the treasury. Memecoin pools frequently sit at the 1%-4% tiers, so read the tier before trading rather than assuming 0.25%.
