Jumper Exchange
6.5/10 total
The consumer front end for LI.FI's cross-chain routing layer, covering more than fifty chains across EVM, Solana, Bitcoin and SUI with no account and no platform fee. The reason for caution is the contract layer rather than the interface: on 16 July 2024 a newly added LI.FI facet was exploited for roughly $11.6 million, draining 153 wallets that had granted infinite token approvals, and Jumper users were told to revoke permissions. LI.FI had suffered a similar approval-related exploit in March 2022, which is why the incident was widely written up as the same mistake twice.
Scores
Weights are published in the method and applied identically to every entry.
For
- No account, no email and no verification for the swap and bridge flows
- Charges no fee of its own on top of the underlying bridge and DEX costs
- Very wide chain coverage including non-EVM destinations, which few no-account routers match
- LI.FI publishes a hosted MCP server and a CLI aimed specifically at autonomous agents
- Contracts and SDK are open source and have been audited multiple times
Against
- LI.FI, the routing layer it depends on, was exploited for about $11.6 million in July 2024 through a newly deployed facet, affecting users with infinite approvals
- A comparable approval-related exploit had already occurred in March 2022, so this is a repeat class of failure
- Granting token approvals to a router contract is the exposure here; set finite approvals and revoke after use
- Every trade is public on-chain and the front end sees your IP and wallet address
- The integrated fiat on-ramp partners do require full KYC, even though the swap path does not
Agent access 10/10
LI.FI publishes a hosted MCP server, a CLI and an OpenAPI spec, with quote and status endpoints usable without an account. This is the most agent-ready router in this category by a clear margin.
Reported separately and not counted in the total. It measures what an autonomous agent can do unattended, not whether the service is safe to use.
Fees
0% own fee
Jumper does not add a platform fee of its own; you pay source and destination gas plus the bridge and DEX fees on each leg. Note that LI.FI, the routing layer underneath, charges integrators a 0.25% service fee, so the same routes reached through a third-party app can cost more than through Jumper directly.
