The custodial wallet and exchange had run for a decade with no identity checks, and US prosecutors say it moved more than 235 million dollars in illicit funds while never registering with FinCEN; founder Roman Pikulev, who also used the surname Boss, was indicted for money laundering and operating an unlicensed money services business. The domain no longer resolves at all, so a stale link to it simply fails rather than landing on a clone, which is the least bad outcome for a dead brand.
